- Drop in Tuesday Eve Zoom Classes
Tuesday Zoom Classes normally at 7.30pm save for Tuesday 7 and 14 January 2025 when class will start at 6:00 pm - basic asanas, pranayama and yoga nidra. If you can't make it to Sheepdrove, zoom in instead to get your yoga fix! Class for mixed abilities and alternatives will be given - please arrive 5 mins before class so we can start promptly and ensure Jane can see you clearly throughout the class so she can help you. If you have not practised with Sheepdrove yoga before, you will be required to complete a Health form. As this is a drop in class you will need to What's App Jane for the zoom link once you have booked.

Raising funds for Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library West Berkshire programme for children in care. The Library is dedicated to inspiring a love of reading by gifting books free of charge to children through funding shared by Dolly Parton and local community partners in the UK. The Imagination Library is operated by Dolly Parton’s charity, The Dollywood Foundation. It is a collection of high quality, age-appropriate books for children aged from birth until the month they turn five. All children enrolled in the Imagination Library programme receive a free book in the post every month to keep. Our very own Monday night yogi, Helen runs this part of the Dolly Parton's Imagination Library. The programme costs just £26 per child per year for 12 books, a great value way of ensuring children have quality books at home. If you can't attend but would like to donate please contact Jane. We will have a morning of yoga ending with a Yoga Nidra to look back at 2024 and look forward to 2025. - Radical Compassion and RAIN Meditation
Jane will lead each session with an opening meditation and then a review of a specified part of the book with a few slides to get the chat going for each session. The session will close with a RAIN meditation and inquiry. Each session will be roughly monthly for about 1.5 hours starting at 6:15 pm (UK time). The dates are as follows: Feb 7th March 14th April 11th May 9th June 6th It will be the normal hybrid of people in the studio and people on zoom. The zoom link will be sent out to you when you book. If you are joining for the first time Jane will send you a Health form to complete. If you are not on the Sheepdrove Mindfulness Whats App group please ask Jane to add you as some meditations will be recorded and sent out via Whats App. Also if there is something wrong with the Zoom link on the day, a new link will be sent via that group. - Winter Thursdays for all abilities
An opportunity to practice with 3 different teachers and benefit from their different styles of teaching Classes start at 6:30 pm and finish at 8 pm - you will need to inform the teacher at start of each class of any medical issues you have that influence your yoga practice. You are responsible for looking after your own health in each class and asking for alternative asana or pranayama if you know it is not right for you or you feel uncomfortable. - Experienced Yogis Course for Feb 2025
We start again in 2025 with a short 4 week course in Feb covering the normal weekly sequencing for Iyengar yoga classes Thursday 6:30 to 8 pm on Feb 6, 13, 20 and 27 Feb Participants must be happy to work on adho muka vrkasana (handstand) pinchymarasana (elbow stand) sirasana (head stand) and sarvangasana OR SUITABLE VARIATIONS IF THERE ARE HEALTH CONCERNS - if you are curious and want to join but not sure - speak to Jane first. If you miss one of the sessions, you can make up by attending a Zoom class on a Tues eve at 7:30 pm or Monday live class at 6:30 pm (space permitting). Please contact Jane to make arrangements.
- Beginners Yoga 4 week yoga course
A 4 week course introducing the foundations of yoga for all abilities and all shapes! We do a lot of laughing at Sheepdrove Yoga as we don't take ourselves too seriously but we do work hard at the same time. If you would like to give yoga a go for the first time or like to have another go or just want to go over the basics again ............this 4 week course is for you. A small group so you will be able to ask questions and ensure you get the most out of the course. All equipment can be provided - we just ask that you wipe down any equipment you used at the end of the session. Bring a GSOH and turn up on time in leggings/tracksuit bottoms, t-shirt and sweat shirt so you be will comfortable. Please don't eat for 2 hours beforehand. We don't drink water during a yoga session, so leave the water bottle at home or in the car. Do drink lots of water after class! Course is on 4 Tuesday evenings in Feb from 6:15 pm to 7:15 pm on: Feb 4th, 11th, 18th and 25th.
