  • 1st 1-2-1 /Therapy Session

    To work towards your own specific goals using yoga, mindfulness or butekyo or a combination of all three. Once you have paid for a session, you can book a time direct with Jane unless you see a free convenient session showing on the calendar .   • July and Aug Zoom Course Tues Eves

    6 Sessions (for the price of 5!) at 7:30 pm on Tuesdays on: 8, 15, 22 and 29 July 12 and 19 Aug You will need a clear, quiet area in your home where you can unroll your yoga mat and have space to put your legs/arms up a wall. It is beneficial if you also have yoga blocks (use books instead), yoga bricks (short books), yoga belt (scarf), bolster (use cushions rolled in a blanket) and blankets. A chair is also used in some classes. Work in bare feet. In the event a live class has to be re-arranged for whatever reason, the course will be extended by 1 week or a recording of a taught yoga session will be provided instead. A link will be sent to you automatically on booking and Jane will also send that link out to the Zoom Whats App group. Please ask to join the Zoom Whats app group if you are new to Zoom yoga at Sheepdrove. You will receive messages about any challenges with Zoom and any changes and yoga equipment required via the Whats app group. If you have not attended yoga at Sheepdrove Yoga before you will be asked to complete a Health and Declaration form before joining the course. Each participant is responsible for their own well being during the class and Sheepdrove Yoga cannot be held responsible for any injuries. Please place your camera so you can be seen in full by the teacher so guidance can be given to avoid injury. It is best not to eat for at least 2 hours prior to class; no heavy meal for at least 4 hours prior to class. Drink lots of water before and after class but avoid drinking through class if possible. Please let teacher know each week of any new injuries, pregnancies or periods. At any point during the class if the pose feels wrong for you, carefully come out and ask the teacher for an alternative pose. SENSE OF HUMOUR ESSENTIAL !

  • AUG 2025 Experienced Yogis Thurs Eves

    3 Week course on Thursday night from 18:30 to 20:00 ON 7, 14 and 28 August - an opportunity to explore in more depth the asanas, pranayama, pratyahara, dhyana. Students must have at least 2 years of Iyengar practice and MUST BE ABLE to perform Sarvangasana and Sirasana with ease (supported if necessary). Lessons are varied - come with an open and curious mind! If you are new to Sheepdrove Yoga you will need to attend a 1-2-1 before enrolling on this class and complete a Health and Disclaimer form. If you are unable to perform Sirasana or Saravangasana it would be better for you to attend the Monday or Tuesday night classes. Contact Jane for more details. As the Yoga Shack is a small room and the decking limited, in the interests of health and safety you are asked to put all your belongings in the store room after arrival or in nice weather outside below the steps. Please do not leave bags or excess equipment in the practice area around your mat. Whilst there is yoga equipment to borrow, it would help if you could bring your own. If you do borrow please do wipe down the equipment after use with wipes in the store room. Please do not attend class if you are suffering from a cold, flu or covid.

  • August Beginners Tues Night Class

    A 3 week course looking at the foundations of yoga for all abilities and all shapes! We do a lot of laughing at Sheepdrove Yoga as we don't take ourselves too seriously but we do work hard at the same time. If you would like to give yoga a go for the first time or like to have another go or just want to go over the basics again ............this 3 week course is for you. A small group so you will be able to ask questions and ensure you get the most out of the course. All equipment can be provided - we just ask that you wipe down any equipment you used at the end of the session. Bring a GSOH and turn up on time in leggings/tracksuit bottoms, t-shirt and sweat shirt so you be will comfortable. Please don't eat for 2 hours beforehand. We don't drink water during a yoga session, so leave the water bottle at home or in the car. Do drink lots of water after class! Course is on 6 Tuesday evenings starting March 11 from 6:15 pm to 7:15 pm (as there will be a zoom class at 7:30 after this class) on: March 11th, 18th and 25th and April 1st, 8th and 15th If you want to have a chat with Jane beforehand - message her direct at jane@sheepdroveyoga.com Once signed up Jane will send you a Health form for you to complete and return before the first class.

  • AUG 2025 Monday Eve Community Class

    All classes start at 6:30 pm and finish at 7:45 pm 4 Aug 11 Aug 18 Aug If you cannot make any class, you are welcome to attend another evening class subject to space to make up the class you missed. This is a fun class to help improve your health, flexibility and strength and reduce stress. Everybody sleeps better too after a Monday night session! We use props to help everyone be comfortable in an asana and to reach their own individual capacity. Classes are kept to a maximum of 9. Some experience of yoga is beneficial. If you have not done a class at Sheepdrove Yoga before please book in for a 1-2-1 with Jane first. You will also be asked to complete and sign a Health and Disclaimer form before coming to class.   • Yoga Therapy Group Class

    NEW for 2025 is a pop in Group Yoga Therapy + Personal Practice class once a month on either a Tuesday or Wednesday at 18:15 for 1 hour 10 mins If you have been given a yoga sequence to work on you can pop along, either regularly or on one off basis, to work through that sequence with Jane in a group session. We will start working as a Group together, then you will work through your personal sequence before we finish the session together. Contact Jane for a chat if you do not have a personal practice sequence, so she can help you set one up. Jane will help each individual with queries during the session and amend the sequence as they work through it, as necessary, over the weeks. Ideal if you have a medical condition or difficulty with certain postures because of weak knees, shoulders, back, little toe (!) that you need to pay attention to but can't do a regular 1-2-1 or 1-2-2 session. Cost is £14 per session or buy a plan of 5 for £60.You need to book the session you wish to attend in advance. Places are very limited. The session will only run if there are 3 participants registered by 12 noon
